PASHMINA SOZNI (NEEDLEWORK)
Sozni is a type of needlework that originates from the Kashmir region and is known for its intricate and delicate designs. Sozni embroidery is usually done by hand using a small needle and silk thread to create intricate patterns on shawls, stoles, and other fabrics. The embroidery is typically done on a base of fine wool, such as pashmina or shahtoosh, and can take several weeks or even months to complete depending on the complexity of the design.
